ALL ABOUT US

In 2015, Creek Village Gallery and Cafe was founded by a group of creative art enthusiasts who had been dreaming of creating a place for community to enjoy local art and food under one roof.
Creek Village Gallery exists to give a place for our local artists and artisans to share their work with our community. Their one-of-a-kind art and fine crafts reflect a passion for all things local.
Creek Village Gallery is a nonprofit cooperative. The Gallery supports sustainability. Many of our artisans offer up-cycled creations.

Bring art to the community and the community to the art

Sophie Paulusch

"My name is Sophie Paulusch, and I am 12 years old.  During the past couple of years, I have had many hobbies.  Gymnastics, figure skating, piano, crocheting, skiing, dance, swimming, snorkelling, and horseback riding.  But art has always been a part of my life. In August 2023, I attended the “En Plein Air” activity from BBBS.  That night, there was an auction at the Connel House.  I was asked if I was interested in the Young Artist of the Month at Creek Village Gallery.  I immediately said yes!

I am self-taught with painting, but Susanne Hanson has inspired me to try watercolour.  Now, almost all of my artwork is watercolour.

I am so happy that Creek Village Gallery has given me this opportunity to share my talent."

Many thanks to Greg MacPherson, our Young Artist Spotlight sponsor.
