Growing up in Northampton NB I was fortunate to be able to spend a lot of time outside, which led to a passion for nature-based activities and crafts. Pottery has been a natural extension of that for me. There is a sense of awe and connectedness to take a piece of raw clay and turn it into a functional or decorative item as people have been doing for thousands of years.

I enjoy incorporating as many natural elements into my work as possible. I love learning new things and challenging myself with new techniques / methods and sharing my experiences with others. There is a feeling of anticipation with each new glaze recipe or combination as you wait to see the final results.

My hope is that everyone enjoys my creations as much as I’ve enjoyed making them.
